We understand that every child is capable of learning and developing at their own pace in a supportive environment. At Seeds Academy, we believe in the importance of fostering independence, creativity, and curiosity from a young age. Our Young Sprouts program encourages children to learn through hands-on experiences in a safe, nurturing setting, helping to shape their growing minds and hearts.
Our young preschoolers engage in a developmentally appropriate, hands-on curriculum through the STREAM approach and our own carefully designed curriculum. This includes monthly themes that support children's academic and social-emotional growth, including early literacy skills. Our dedicated staff also focuses on expanding children's vocabulary and encouraging cooperative play.
We understand the importance of reaching potty training milestones. Our caring and experienced staff will work closely with you and your child to provide support and guidance, helping them achieve this significant milestone with confidence.
Preschool 3
Our Preschool 3 program is designed to encourage children to gain independence as they continue their educational journey. Our STREAMin³ curriculum focuses on five core skills across multiple areas: Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Math within a supportive environment. Our teachers work hard to create guided lesson plans and small math and reading groups, giving children the opportunity to reach their full potential.
In addition to supporting their academic growth, our preschool program also involves interactive play, which fosters social-emotional development, helping children to thrive and develop a love for lifelong learning.
Pre-K / Junior Kindergarten
In our Pre-Kindergarten program, students will focus on phonics, letter sounds, developing phonemic awareness, introducing sight words, and math skills. Kindergarten readiness is achieved through the STREAMin³ curriculum, a comprehensive program approved by the Virginia Department of Education. Our teachers create an experiential classroom with daily activities. Every day offers new experiences that become lasting memories, while also building character and developing their social emotional skills to become the leaders of tomorrow.
At Seeds Academy we also offer a Junior Kindergarten program that provides a strong foundation for your child’s academic and social growth. This program is specifically designed for children who are ready for more structured learning but may not yet be old enough for traditional kindergarten. Through a combination of hands-on activities, literacy and math skills development, and social-emotional growth, our Junior Kindergarten program helps children build the confidence and skills needed for a successful transition into elementary school.

Afterschool Program
At Seeds Academy, our afterschool program for children aged 5–8 is thoughtfully designed to provide quality care while encouraging new experiences and activities. We offer numerous opportunities to foster curiosity, creativity, and cognitive and physical development through engaging arts, games, and more—all within a safe and nurturing environment.
Enrichment Program/Language Immersion
We believe that learning a second language nurtures young minds, expands social connections, and prepares children to become global citizens. Therefore, we offer several language options at a young age.
